Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, site selection, general layout, main plant layout, fuel supply system, boiler system, turbine system, chemical water treatment system, thermal automation, electrical equipment and systems, water supply and drainage system, auxiliary and ancillary facilities, building and structure, heating and ventilation, and desulfurization and denitrification facilities for the design of power generation using by-product gas from steel enterprises. This document applies to the design of high-temperature and high-pressure gas-fired boilers for power generation in new, modified, and expanded steel enterprises. This document does not apply to gas-steam combined cycle power generation technology.
