Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions of energy-saving design for AC arc furnace power supply systems, the principles of power supply operation, the calculation of basic power supply parameters, the topology of the power supply system, and the dynamic energy-saving design parameters of the power supply system. This document is applicable to new and renovated 70 t to 300 t AC arc furnace systems powered by 110 kV to 330 kV power supply. Other types of AC arc furnace systems can refer to this document for guidance.
