Scope
This document specifies the principles, samples, testing equipment, testing procedures, evaluation of testing results, and testing reports for the top forging test method of metal materials. This document is applicable to metal materials with the following cross-sectional dimensions (diameter, edge length, or inner-circular diameter): for cold top forging tests, the range is 5mm to 50mm; for hot top forging tests, the range is 5mm to 200mm. For metal materials exceeding the scope of application of this document, they shall comply with the provisions of relevant product standards or agreements.
