Scope

This standard specifies the minimum requirements for certificates of calibration gas mixtures in bottles. This standard also applies to pure gases used for calibration, but not to pure gases and gas mixtures used for non-calibration purposes. This standard stipulates the metrological requirements for calibration gas mixtures and does not address safety and legal requirements. This standard also provides recommended additional information (optional clauses) for calibration gas mixtures packaged in pressurized gas cylinders or other containers. This standard does not include data on safety aspects and related markings.
