This document describes a method for determining the content of acetate fibers in a mixture of the following fibers after removing non-fibrous substances using the benzyl alcohol method: — Acetate fibers, and — Triacetate fibers, polypropylene fibers, polyolefin elastic fibers, melamine fibers, polypropylene/polyamide composite fibers, and polyacrylate fibers.
