Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, materials, installation, inspection, testing, and preparation for shipment of special-purpose turbines. This standard also covers lubricating oil systems, instrumentation, control systems, and auxiliary equipment.
This standard applies to special-purpose turbines used in the oil, petrochemical, and natural gas industries.
This standard does not apply to general-purpose turbines used in the oil, petrochemical, and natural gas industries. Such turbines are subject to GB/T 28573.
