Scope

This standard is formulated to unify and standardize the engineering design, construction, and acceptance of belt conveyors, ensure project quality, guarantee safe production, and achieve advanced technology and economic rationality. This standard applies to the engineering design, construction, and acceptance of ordinary belt conveyors, horizontal turning belt conveyors, U-shaped belt conveyors, and tubular belt conveyors. This standard does not apply to the engineering design, construction, and acceptance of special belt conveyors such as steel rope traction and air cushion conveyors. The bulk density of bulk materials transported by belt conveyors should be 0.50t/m3 to 2.80t/m3, and the material temperature should not exceed 60℃. The working environment temperature should be -25℃ to +40℃. When exceeding the above range, corresponding measures should be taken. In addition to complying with this standard, the engineering design, construction, and acceptance of belt conveyors shall also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
