Scope

In order to unify the technical requirements of micro-irrigation projects, ensure the quality of micro-irrigation project construction, and promote the healthy development of micro-irrigation, so as to achieve advanced technology, economic rationality, and reliable operation, this standard is formulated. This standard is applicable to the planning, design, construction, installation, acceptance, and operation management of newly built, expanded, or renovated micro-irrigation projects. The planning, design, construction, installation, and supervision of micro-irrigation projects shall have technical capabilities commensurate with the scale of the project. Materials and equipment used in micro-irrigation projects shall be tested by statutory testing institutions or certified by certification agencies. In addition to complying with the provisions of this standard, the planning, design, construction, installation, acceptance, and operation of micro-irrigation projects shall also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
