Scope

This part of GB/T 18759 specifies the bus interface and communication protocol specifications for open CNC systems in mechanical and electrical equipment, with the aim of enabling the transmission of commands and responses between CNC devices, sensors, drives, I/O devices, and other components in open CNC systems, so as to support interoperability between devices. This part is applicable to open CNC systems used in electrical equipment for metal processing machines, textile machines, printing machines, sewing machines, plastic and rubber machinery, woodworking machinery, and other industrial machinery and equipment. Other industrial machinery and equipment can also refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
