Scope

This document stipulates the requirements for test vehicles, test subjects, test drivers or safety officers, and test operation management entities for road operation safety tests of intelligent connected vehicles. This document applies to Level 3 driving automation (conditional autonomous driving) and higher-level intelligent connected vehicles specified in GB/T 40429-2021, including intelligent connected passenger cars, buses, trucks, and special-purpose vehicles.
