Scope

1.1 The test methods specified in this part of GB/T 12008 are applicable to the determination of sodium and potassium in various polyols with a sodium and potassium content of 0 to 10 mg/kg. When the sodium and potassium content in polyols is high, one or several of the following methods can be used for improved determination:
——Reduce the amount of sample weighed;
——Dilute the ash solution;
——Extend the working curve to higher concentrations.
1.2 This part does not address any safety issues related to use. Before use, it is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health measures and determine the scope of application of management restrictions. Special precautions are described in Chapter 6.
