Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and storage and transportation for yarns dyed on cones for knitting.
This standard applies to pure cotton, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose, polyester filament, polyester staple fiber, acrylic yarns, and strands dyed on cones using the cone dyeing process. Yarns dyed on cones made from other raw materials may be implemented in accordance with this standard.
