Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the RGB workflow in print production, using reflective prints (RGB reference prints) as a means of evaluating color images. It provides guidelines for creating RGB images (RGB reference images) and simulated prints intended for printing. This document requires two ICC (International Color Consortium) profile files for each image: an image profile file and a profile file describing the reference print system. These profile files provide separate color conversions for gamut mapping and color separation. This document does not provide any guidance on how to specify these gamut mapping or color separation conversions.
