GB/T 39997-2021 Thermoplastic pipework for underground installation at petrol filling stations
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, materials, classification, working pressure, and lifespan of thermoplastic plastic composite piping systems used in underground applications at gas stations, as well as requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document applies to thermoplastic and reinforced/composite pipes, fittings, or systems used in gas stations to transport liquid fuels and gases, including:
— Positive-pressure refueling pipelines (pressurized by submersible pumps) and negative-pressure refueling pipelines (using self-priming refueling pumps) from storage tanks to fuel dispensers;
— Unloading pipelines from unloading ports to storage tanks;
— Ventilation and gas/oil recovery pipelines;
— Anti-seepage sheathing pipelines.
This document does not apply to liquefied petroleum gas pipelines.
