Scope
This part of GB/T 16422 specifies the test method for plastic samples exposed to xenon arc lamps in the presence of moisture, which is used to simulate the natural aging effect of materials exposed to sunlight or filtered sunlight in actual use environments.
The samples are exposed to filtered xenon arc light sources under controlled conditions (temperature, humidity, and/or wetting), and different types of xenon arc light sources and filter combinations are used to meet different test requirements.
The preparation of specific material samples and the evaluation of results refer to other national standards.
The general principles are given in GB/T 16422.1.
