Scope

This standard specifies the technical management requirements that mechanical refrigerated container yards should meet. This standard applies to dedicated refrigerated container yards set up in ports and transit stations. Other types of dedicated refrigerated container yards can be used as reference. The yards specified in this standard are suitable for storing mechanical refrigerated containers of types 1EEE, 1EE, 1AAA, 1AA, 1A, 1CC, and 1C, but they are not suitable for storing mechanical refrigerated containers carrying dangerous goods.
