This document describes a method for determining the micronaire value of a certain quantity of cotton fibers with a loose and irregular arrangement. This document is applicable to the detection of the micronaire value of cotton fibers extracted from cotton bales, cotton rolls, cotton strips, or other sources of lint cotton.
