GB/T 10067.35-2015 Basic specifications for electroheat installations—Part 35:Medium frequency vacuum induction melting furnace
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 10067 specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and ordering and supply of medium-frequency vacuum induction melting furnaces (hereinafter referred to as vacuum furnaces).
This part applies to induction furnaces that operate at a frequency higher than the mains frequency of 50 Hz and lower than or equal to 10,000 Hz, with a rated capacity ranging from 0.01 t to 30 t. These furnaces are powered by medium-frequency semiconductor frequency converters (hereinafter referred to as frequency converters) and are used for melting and casting ingots or precision casting of complex parts from special alloy steels, nickel-based high-temperature alloys, titanium alloys, and copper and its alloys under vacuum conditions.
