Scope
1.0.1 This specification is formulated to unify the technical requirements for the design and construction of sheet pile wharfs, with the aim of achieving advanced technology, economic rationality, safety and reliability, and durability and applicability. 1.0.2 This specification applies to the design and construction of new, expanded, or modified sheet pile wharf projects. The design and construction of shore protection and enclosures using sheet pile structures can be implemented with reference to this specification. 1.0.3 In addition to complying with the provisions of this specification, the design and construction of sheet pile wharfs shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
