Scope
This standard specifies the design principles of the main control room of nuclear power plants, the method of functional design of the main control room, and the requirements for functional design and staffing, etc. It also stipulates the procedures for verifying and confirming the functional design of the control room. This standard applies to the design of the main control room of nuclear power plants. This standard does not apply to dedicated or unmanned control points, such as the shutdown operation points outside the main control room, radioactive waste treatment facilities, emergency response facilities, etc., nor does it apply to detailed equipment design.
