Scope

This standard specifies the product varieties, specifications, requirements, grading provisions, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and marking of woven silk garments (hereinafter referred to as silk knitwear). This standard is applicable to the quality assessment of silk knitwear. Knitwear made from silk blended with other fibers or interwoven with other fibers can be referenced for implementation. This standard is not applicable to the quality assessment of chiffon silk knitwear.
