Scope
This standard specifies the safety technical requirements for handheld or automatic electrostatic spray guns and their auxiliary devices used in electrostatic spray painting and electrostatic powder spraying areas. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, testing, inspection, use, and maintenance of various handheld or automatic electrostatic spray guns and their auxiliary devices. This standard does not apply to intrinsically safe electrostatic spray guns.
