Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, product models, component materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of piston-type high-flow drainage valves.
This standard applies to piston-driven drainage valves with nominal sizes of DN80 to DN400 and nominal pressures of less than or equal to PN10, used in water supply and drainage systems to remove sludge and other sediments that have settled at the bottom of tanks.
