Scope
This standard applies to: a) water treatment equipment with a design pressure not exceeding 5 MPa, and for the pipeline systems within the scope of a complete project, it can be implemented as a reference; b) water treatment equipment subject to the supervision of the "Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Pressure Vessels" (abbreviated as "Vessel Regulations", hereinafter the same), such as mechanical filtration equipment using compressed air for backwashing; countercurrent regeneration ion exchange equipment using gas-top pressure method; cation-anion mixed exchange columns using compressed air for resin mixing; and acid (alkali) storage tanks in acid (alkali) delivery systems using compressed air, but without acid (alkali) pumps installed in the tanks, etc.
