This document specifies the special safety requirements for fixed-type strength training equipment in addition to the general safety requirements of GB/T 17498.1-2026.
This document applies to fixed-type strength training equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment") in Classes H, S, and I of GB/T 17498.1-2026 that have stacked weight resistance or alternative resistance methods (such as elastic ropes, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, magnetic, springs, and external load weights).
Note: The accuracy level does not apply to this type of equipment, as the accuracy level does not affect the safety of this type of equipment.
