Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fire-resistant rings for plastic pipes.
This standard applies to fire-resistant rings used in hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic drainage pipes in industrial and civil buildings. Fire-resistant rings for other plastic pipes can refer to this standard.
