Scope

This document describes the hydrostatic pressure test method for underwater robots and their components, provides the test device and test conditions for the hydrostatic pressure test of underwater robots, proposes a severity rating, and establishes a test process. This document is applicable to assessing or evaluating the adaptability of underwater robots and their components to hydrostatic pressure environments in deep water, shallow water, seawater, or freshwater working environments.
