Scope

This document describes the test method for the high-temperature friction and wear performance of laser repair layers using the ball-disk test method. This document is applicable to conditions ranging from 35°C to 1000°C, and uses the ball-disk test method to determine the wear resistance and friction force generated when laser repair layers are in coaxial sliding contact with each other or with other materials.
