Scope

This standard specifies the three-point comparative odor bag method for measuring odor emitted in various forms by ambient air and various sources of odor pollution (including water bodies). This standard is applicable to the measurement of odor in ambient air, air at unorganized emission monitoring points, and waste gas samples from fixed pollution sources. The measurement method of this standard is the olfactory organ measurement method, which is not limited by the type of odor substances, the number of types, the concentration range, and the concentration ratio of the components contained therein.
