Scope

This standard specifies the gas bag sampling/direct injection gas chromatography method for determining benzene compounds in waste gas from fixed pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, ortho-xylene, meta-xylene, para-xylene, isopropylbenzene, and styrene in waste gas from fixed pollution sources. When the sampling volume is 1.0 ml, the method's detection limit is 0.2 mg/m3 to 0.6 mg/m3, and the determination limit is 0.8 mg/m3 to 2.4 mg/m3. For details, see Appendix A.
