This document specifies the principles, testing devices, samples, testing conditions, testing procedures, data processing, and test reports for the laser interferometry test method for measuring the thermal expansion coefficient of low-expansion glass filaments.
This document is applicable to the testing of the thermal expansion coefficient of low-expansion glass (such as low-expansion quartz glass, low-expansion microcrystalline glass, and high-purity quartz glass) with a thermal expansion coefficient of no more than 10-7/℃. Other materials with different thermal expansion coefficients may also refer to this document for guidance.
