Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grade, energy efficiency limit values, energy-saving evaluation values, and test methods for arc welding machines.
This standard applies to arc welding machines powered by voltages specified in Table 1 of GB/T 156 and designed for industrial and professional use.
This standard does not apply to AC TIG arc welding machines, AC/DC dual-use TIG arc welding machines, arc welding machines driven by mechanical equipment, and manual metal arc welding power supplies used by non-professionals with limited loads.
