Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and model naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage for electric steamers for household and similar purposes. This standard applies to electric steamers for household and similar purposes (hereinafter referred to as "appliances") with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, a rated power not exceeding 3 kW, a rated water tank capacity not exceeding 4 L, and a rated steamer basket capacity not exceeding 15 L.
