Scope
In order to standardize the design, construction and installation, acceptance and operation and maintenance of large and medium-sized biogas projects, and to ensure the quality of the projects and safe production, these regulations are formulated. These regulations are applicable to biogas projects that use anaerobic digestion processes to treat agricultural organic waste, industrial high-concentration organic wastewater, industrial organic waste residue, and sludge, with gas supply as the main purpose and a biogas production capacity of not less than 500 cubic meters per day. These regulations apply to the design, construction and installation, acceptance, and operation and maintenance of newly built, expanded, and renovated biogas projects.
