1.1 This standard specifies the method for identifying dual grain size. This standard divides dual grain size into two major categories and six types, and describes the characteristics of each type, providing corresponding characterization methods and reporting formats. 1.2 This standard is only a recommended test method and does not specify the acceptable grade range for material acceptance testing.
