Scope
This document specifies the requirements for steel reducer fittings (hereinafter referred to as "reducer fittings") with diameters ranging from DN 6 to DN 300 (NPS 1/8 to NPS 12), including their types and designations, connection dimensions, order content, shapes, dimensions and tolerances, materials, design and manufacturing, heat treatment, inspection and testing, marking, surface protection and packaging, as well as product quality certificates. This document is applicable to steel reducer fittings used in piping systems.
