Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for steel butt-welded pipe fittings (hereinafter referred to as fittings), including order content, materials, manufacturing, heat treatment, inspection and testing, welding repair, surface protection and packaging, and product quality certificates. This standard applies to the fittings specified in GB/T 12459. Other fittings can also be used as a reference.
