Scope

This document specifies the form of visual acuity testing, the quality of vision charts, the procedures for near-vision testing of non-destructive testing personnel, and the requirements for qualification levels. It also stipulates the qualification requirements for personnel conducting vision tests. This document only sets out the requirements for the near-vision of non-destructive testing personnel under specific working conditions (similar to those of daily non-destructive testing). This document does not cover all aspects of a person's vision. Employers may consider entrusting professional medical personnel to conduct regular vision tests to ensure that vision meets the requirements of the job. This document does not stipulate the requirements for color vision.
