Scope

This standard specifies the technical specifications and test methods for reinforced and non-reinforced thermoplastic foldable hoses, which are used for the main and branch pipes for conveying and distributing irrigation water with a temperature not exceeding 50 °C. This standard applies to irrigation hoses with a nominal diameter of 40 mm to 500 mm and an operating pressure of 0.3 bar (0.03 MPa) to 6 bar (0.6 MPa). This standard applies to hoses of two configuration types, with or without outlet connectors.
