Scope

This document specifies the specimens, test conditions, instruments and equipment, test procedures, data processing, and test reports for the axial compression performance test of carbon fiber reinforced composite thin-walled tubes. This document is applicable to the determination of the axial compression strength and axial compression elastic modulus of fiber reinforced composite thin-walled tubes with a wall thickness not exceeding 1 mm and a nominal diameter less than 50 mm. Other fiber reinforced composite thin-walled tubes can be used as a reference for this test.
