Scope

This standard specifies the method of expanding the mouth for determining the plastic deformation capacity of circular cross-sectional metal pipes. This standard is applicable to metal pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 150 mm (non-ferrous metal pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 100 mm) and a wall thickness not exceeding 10 mm. The outer diameter and wall thickness range of metal pipes applicable to this standard can be specified in more detail in the relevant product standards.
