This part applies to cable tray and pipe systems installed under or flush with the floor. These tray and pipe systems are used to accommodate and, if necessary, separate conductors, cables, or flexible cords and/or other electrical equipment.
This part applies to cable tray and pipe systems installed beneath or flush with the finished floor, as well as their system components.
This part does not apply to conduits, cable trays, or ladder racks (cable bridges), nor to the current-carrying components in this system.
