Scope
This standard specifies the test methods and requirements for the welding process evaluation of aluminum and aluminum alloys.
This standard is applicable to inert gas shielded arc welding and plasma arc welding of aluminum and aluminum alloys.
When evaluating other fusion welding processes of aluminum alloys, the relevant requirements of this standard can also be referenced.
