Scope

1.0.1 In order to ensure that the design of wastewater reuse projects meets the requirements of making full use of urban wastewater resources, reducing water pollution loads, and improving the comprehensive utilization efficiency of water resources, and to promote the construction of a resource-saving and environmentally friendly society, ensuring safety, reliability, advanced technology, and economic feasibility, these specifications are formulated. 1.O.2 These specifications apply to the design of new, expanded, and modified wastewater reuse projects that use wastewater for landscape environmental water supply, industrial water sources, urban miscellaneous water, green space irrigation, agricultural irrigation, and groundwater recharge. 1.O.3 In addition to complying with these specifications, the design of wastewater reuse projects shall also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
