Scope

This standard specifies the methods of combustion-neutralization titration, combustion-potassium iodate titration, and combustion-infrared absorption for determining the sulfur content in chromite ore. This standard is applicable to the determination of sulfur content in chromite ore. The measurement range (mass fraction): combustion-neutralization titration 0.005%~0.50%; combustion-potassium iodate titration 0.005%~0.50%; combustion-infrared absorption 0.005%~0.50%. This standard shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T 24228.
