GB/Z 3480.22-2024 Calculation of load capacity of spur and helical gears—Part 22:Calculation of micropitting load capacity
Basic Information
Scope
This document describes the calculation method for the load-carrying capacity of micro-pitting on external meshing cylindrical gears. This method is based on experiments and observations of oil-lubricated gear transmissions with a module of 3 mm to 11 mm and a pitch circle line speed of 8 m/s to 60 m/s. This document is suitable for any gear pair with suitable parameters that meets the following requirements. The formulas in this document apply to active and passive cylindrical gears with a tooth profile that complies with ISO 53, as well as gears that are conjugate with other basic gears and have an equivalent engagement degree (εαn) of less than 2.5. For cases where the normal working pressure angle is no greater than 25°, the pitch circle helix angle is no greater than 25°, and the pitch circle line speed is greater than 2 m/s, the calculation results of this document are highly consistent with those of other methods. This document is not suitable for evaluating non-micro-pitting type of tooth surface damage.
