This document specifies the relevant definitions and terms for monitoring agricultural runoff in the plain water network area, the layout of agricultural runoff monitoring sites and the installation of monitoring equipment, the collection and analysis of runoff samples, the calculation of nitrogen, phosphorus, and other pollutant discharge in runoff, and the management and quality control of runoff monitoring sites.
This document is applicable to the monitoring activities of agricultural runoff in the plain water network area conducted by agricultural environmental protection departments at all levels, regulatory units, and scientific research departments.
