Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, storage, and transportation requirements for power LEDs used in LED road and tunnel lighting. This standard applies to 1W power LEDs used in LED road and tunnel lighting (only suitable for white LEDs formed by the excitation of phosphors by blue LED chips). Power LEDs of other power ratings can be implemented with reference to this standard. Power LEDs used in indoor lighting can also be implemented with reference to this standard.
