Scope

This standard specifies the ordering content, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of hot-rolled thick steel plates and steel strips made of carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel, as well as their technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled thick steel plates made of carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel with a thickness of 3mm to 400mm, and hot-rolled steel strips with a thickness of 3mm to 25.4mm.
