Scope

This document specifies the test method for measuring the spray deposition quantity and distribution on field crops when a horizontal spray boom sprayer is spraying downward. This document is also applicable to spraying operations on seedlings and low-growing shrub crops. Note: When measuring the spray deposition on the crop canopy, it is recommended to use ISO 22522 [3]. This document allows for appropriate flexibility in field trial preparation, but it stipulates standardized measurement procedures that can be used to compare the results of different field trials or to compare with laboratory trials, as described in ISO 56822 [1]. This document is not applicable for regulatory purposes.
